Greg Christenson
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Greg Christenson is a managing director and partner at EQA where he leads the firm’s consumer packaged goods (CPG) and retail efforts. He brings unparalleled experience, having served as the CFO of several of the most recognizable and trusted global consumer brands. Greg has executed dozens of acquisitions from the buy-side and played a critical role in the sale of three of the most notable CPG deals in their respective markets in recent history. He is an invaluable resource to founders, owners, and stakeholders of CPG and retail companies as they navigate strategic growth initiatives and transaction opportunities.
Prior to joining EQA, Greg served as CFO of Tropicana Brands Group and Champion Petfoods, and previously held the CFO roles at Amplify Snack Brands, WhiteWave Foods and Oberto Snacks. Earlier in his career, he served in various financials roles last being a Director of Finance Cheese Division at Kraft Foods and KPMG. Greg brings deep expertise in financial strategy, capital allocation, and M&A execution, and currently serves on the Board of Directors and Audit Committee of Oatly and Chemical Guys as well as a Trustee at Providence College.
Greg is an alumni of Providence College and received his Master at Northeastern University. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, playing golf, drinking wine, and visiting his two adult children.
